The library comprises of all the necessary textbooks, reference books, various dissertations and thesis. The library is fully computerized wherein books and reference books are scanned by the parent institution and those are available on every computer of college through VRIDDHI software. The library also has the facility of Xerox machine, scanning machine and 24 hours internet facility.
The library has a vast collection of books .Many research scholars from other institutions make use of the library for referencing. Library records are fully computerized. The institution has purchased advanced library automation software namely VRIDDHI, Library management system. Books of all sister institutions of the campus are accessible from anywhere in the campus through computers. The library also provides the internet facility for faculty and teacher trainees. A collection of M.Ed. dissertations,  M.Phil. and Ph.D. reports are also made available in the library.
The digital library includes scanned research reports, Journals, Magazines, Reference books , teachers notes, syllabus, power point presentations prepared by teachers, question papers of previous years. Staff and teacher trainees can access the Digital library through the intranet. The library books are arranged subject wise. According to call number, Colon classification System-edition 6 is used for classifying books, Author catalogue and subject class number catalogue index cabinets are kept in the reading room for searching the information about books. After completion of the data entry work, information about books is made available through OPAC (on line public Access Catalogue).There is a mechanism to review the library resources and to make it available to the students. The college has a library committee.
The library committee takes a regular review of purchases and maintenance issues concerned with the library. Faculty incharge assists the librarian for optimum use. The library committee, with the faculty members and the teacher trainees, prepares a list of recommended books and reference books to be purchased. The Principal proposes the same to the LMC for sanction. The faculty provides the list of books required by them related to their subjects. The book dealers visit the college along with a brochure of newly published books. The experts from the University of Pune and other Colleges of Education visit the library and give their valuable suggestions. The library advisory committee takes a note of the suggestions given by them for further improvement. The librarian informs the staff and the students about the new arrivals and makes it available to them.

 Yes, Library Automation Status Institution’s management had sanctioned the purchase of advanced and comprehensive library management software namely “VRIDDHI Software ” which generates barcode for each library member on their ID card. Library membership is allotted to students or employees and a database is maintained. Book circulation and access is made easy using barcode. Each library member can access his/her library account using his/her barcode printed on ID card. This module is supported with OPAC tool and digital library. We have reduced the need of traditional catalogue system through digitization. All the libraries in our campus are linked together with one common database. Students can search any library material depending on author, publisher, keywords, synopsis etc. A separate Accession Register for both Book & Periodicals is managed. Three types of member groups are provided such as Student, Employee & Other. Depending on the type of membership, different privileges, rights & restrictions for book circulation, different fine & due structure can be set as per the need. All library work like Accessioning, Serial Control & Circulation is included in software. After accessioning, the books or periodicals are ready for circulation. Librarian can define number of reservation & reservation period of each member group. Daily report on reserve materials & expired reservation list can be obtained from the software. During circulation the software takes care of Reservation, Book Issuing Limit, and Renewal Limit & Fine for late receipt or loss of book. Accession Register, Membership Register, book Issue Register, Reservation Register, Binding Register, Fine & Write-Off Registers can be printed. Book Card- Title wise-Author wise-Language wise subject wise Class no. wise & Budget wise are available. The “Statistical Information Report” lets one understand complete status of the library.
Does the institution library have computer, internet and reprographic facilities?
 If yes, give details on the access to the staff and students and the frequency of use. The library has two computers which are connected through LAN with requisite operating system and VRIDDHI software for issuing books. The library has a server located at Dental College. There is an Issuing Counter, OPAC and Internet facility for teacher trainees. Digital library is used to access the books available online. Xerox machine, scanning machine is also available in the library. Inter library loan is also available in the library where students and the teachers from outside can issue the books, Dissertations and Thesis and a register is maintained for the same.
Does the institution make use of Inflibnet / Delnet IUC facilities?-
If yes, give details.-YES, the college has INFLIBNET facility through co-membership with Jaykar Library (Main Library, University of Pune). This is a very important reference source in research area. This facility is used by the faculty members and the students of research. The college is a member of the British Library and Deccan Muslim institute. These Libraries are very rich in its collection.
Give details on the working days of the Library. (Days the library is open in an academic year, hours the library remain open per day, etc.) The library is open from 9.00 am. to 5.00 pm. for teacher trainees and faculty members on all working days. The timings are extended from 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. during the examination period. The library is also kept open on Sundays and other holidays whenever there is a demand from the students for studying in the reading hall and for exchange of books. The parent institution has a central library in the campus and the library is open for 24 hours with intranet and internet facilities.
How do the staff and students come to know of the new arrivals?
 The brochures given by the book dealers are displayed in the library. New arrival board is maintained in the library where the new title names are displayed and the staff and the teacher trainees come to know about the new books purchased. Apart from this, the parent institution organizes book shows, where the new books are displayed. Faculty members also recommend new books for purchase based on their visits and interactions with other educational colleges. Stack rooms of the library is open for the staff and the students.
Does the institution’s library have a book bank?
If yes, is the book bank facility utilized by the students?
Yes, the college is proud to say that right from the establishment year the college has introduced book bank facility and these books are given to the teacher trainees for the entire academic year. The college gives 8-10 books to all the teacher trainees based upon their medium. Along with book bank facility teacher trainees can use online books facility and the records are maintained.  What are the special facilities offered by the library to the visually and physically challenged persons?
- The college accepts that it has no provision for the visually and physically challenged teacher trainees. But the physically challenged teacher trainees can access all the library books from the digital library on the ground floor, either in the office or the staff room.
